“Discover New Heights with Foundations of Reading”

Words without Limits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving literacy and educational outcomes for students on the southeast side of Colorado Springs, with a special focus on those affected by dyslexia. Our mission is to provide access to critical reading and learning support services for children who struggle with reading, writing, and language processing, empowering them to reach their full academic potential.

Founded in 2024 by a certified Academic Language Practitioner and Dyslexia specialist, this organization was created in response to the growing need for specialized educational resources for students facing reading challenges in our community. We understand that dyslexia and other learning differences can have a profound impact on a child’s educational journey, and we are committed to bridging the gap by providing funding for students to receive targeted interventions.

With the help of our community partners, we offer:

  • Dyslexia Therapy and Intervention services
  • Assessments and Awareness to help families, educators, and the community understand dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

This work would not be possible without the help of our community partners, all whom are passionate individuals who share a commitment to improving the lives of students in our community. By covering the cost of Dyslexia and reading intervention services, we help ensure that children in Colorado Springs have the resources they need to overcome learning obstacles, develop strong reading skills, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

At Words Without Limits, we believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed in school, regardless of their learning challenges. Together, we can create a future where all students, regardless of background or disability, can thrive in the classroom and beyond.

At Words Without Limits, we use the Take Flight curriculum, a research-backed program developed by the Luke Waites Dyslexia Research Center at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Recognized as the gold standard for dyslexia intervention, it also benefits struggling readers and English Language Learners. This intensive program includes 230 days of instruction, combining new learning and application, with at least three one-hour sessions per week to ensure lasting literacy success.
